We must admit to being very spotty with our blog posts in recent months. We had an incredibly busy season last year with healthy growth and a full schedule, and with an overwhelming flow of enquiries this year, and the responsibilities of being a mummy with a new addition to the family, I have had to put blogging aside.
So this is our first post of ‘pretty’ in 2015, and this ‘pretty’ really is off the scale!
Holly’s wedding day preparations took place at her parents home ‘Danethorpe Hill Farm’ within the light and airy conservatory overlooking a grand marquee which was to host the reception. It really was a hive of activity. That said, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and with a little fizz to help, everyone remained calm and in good spirit even in the final hour.
Lauren and I were busy bee’s with blow dry’s and hair ups for Holly, her mum Sharon, and her four lovely bridesmaids whilst all makeup was taken good care of by the very talented Ail Gunn. Holly opted for an elegant Chignon hairstyle whilst her bridesmaids opted for a similar but unstructured version. I think you’ll agree that everyone looked so gorgeous, although we really can’t take any credit given that they’re a gorgeous bunch of ladies anyway.
I’m a sucker for detail. I adore the styling of James & Holly’s wedding which I’d describe as rustic yet elegant, very ‘English garden’, and oh so very pretty. With white roses, ivy, bird cage chandeliers, tree bark, the horse drawn carriage, the beautiful delicate lace of Holly’s dress and full length veil……. swoon!
And before I get too carried away with ‘weddingy’ details I should just let you feast your eyes on these beautiful images which really do all the talking by themselves.
