Sometimes we just fancy making pretty photos, and we’re lucky enough to share a studio with like-minded creatives!

Earlier this year, we discovered a stunning poppy field and we just knew we needed to take advantage of it for a shoot and to play around with some hair and make up ideas. Our studio pal, Shelley Richmond of Kindred Photography is an expert of taking inspiration from beautiful settings, so we teamed up to create these stunning images.

After responding to our shout out on Facebook for a willing model, the lovely Sophia turned up just 2 hours later for the shoot. We had so much fun trying some ideas out on her and think she looks amazing in the photos. Jenn worked on hair and created a relaxed braided look to bring out the wildness of the setting. With Natty on make up, Sophia was given bold red lips and an enchanting lined eye with subtle smokeyness. We think she looks breathtaking! We finished off the styling with a simple dress from Asos, which doesn’t distract from the impact of the hair and makeup.
