It was such a pleasure to work on this gorgeous and romantic Styled Shoot with Alex from The Bijou Bride, and our friend Shelley of Kindred Photography.
The dreamy tonal colour palette of grey and inky blues, takes its inspiration from it’s unique surroundings –
Victorian Shell House which sits on the edge of a lake at West Lexham Manor in Norfolk.

The ideas behind the concept with word by Alex from The Bijou Bride
The theme for this shoot came from a Victorian Shell House on the edge of the lake at West Lexham.
It has to be seen to be believed, hundreds of delicate shells framing walls and windows. It’s a work of art in it’s own right.
Seeking inspiration from it’s inky blue walls and the historic shapes and colours of the shells I created a concept based around the romance of the endless sea.
From frothy waves breaking on the shore to glistening sand, the amazing creatives involved brought to life their own coastal visions.
We created a floral centrepiece inside a giant clam shell, spilling over with inky blues, sea foam, grey and white blooms and foliage.
There was a romantic windswept feel with the loose bouquet featuring unusual plants and flowers.
Flowers included tillandsia, eryngium, anigozanthus alongside garden roses and delphinium.
And with the bridal outfits there was inspiration from the sea with scallop edge details and soft blue lace.
